Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. CORA HALE, her mom NATALIE MARTIN and her 4 siblings (KIRA YUKIMURA, THEO RAEKEN, LIAM DUNBAR and MALIA TATE) were rescued from the a backyard. Rescue mama was called that the neighbors were not being kind to the little family. So a trapper went out and trapped the family and brought them to our rescue. With all the chaotic rescuing going on in the summer, we were not able to get out kittens into our regular clinic. We were offered a different clinic and we made the appointments. To our dismay 7 of the 18 cats sent to this clinic ended up in the emergency room. CORA HALE was one of them. Her incision opened and were were able to save her. Our little CORA HALE has been through so much tragedy at such a young age. She deserves a wonderful home that will love her and want to give her a TRUE FUREVER home.
