Zane exudes that rascally black-and-white tuxedo charm, and radiating that mischief personality that we all adore! While he may be missing Sylvester’s red nose, he instead has a head full of wonderful white whiskers. So darn cute! Zane is definitely a character with an adventurous spirit. The biggest - and flirtiest - of his litter, Zane is the confident leader of the group. He is always ready for action. If there’s fun to be had, Zane is always the instigator. Tag is always on the agenda, especially when it involves chasing his brother Zeke up and down the cat tower or darting through the donut tunnel. His energy is contagious, and his confidence makes him the friendliest of the bunch. Zane has a wonderfully affectionate side to him. He loves to sneak up and see what you are doing. “What are you watching on your cell phone? Is that water bottle empty? Can I have that plastic lid?” He is always curious! He also has the loudest motor. This foster mom enjoys her “purr-fest” at breakfast and dinner time! It can be mayhem at feeding time, each kitten rotating from bowl to bowl, but with all their little motors rumbling loud and clear. Zane and his siblings were rescued in December 2025, when they were 8-9 weeks old, during that bitter arctic blast! They had been confined to a wire crate in an unheated garage and were suffering from what initially appeared to be a typical upper respiratory infection. It was not typical. After weeks of careful treatment and dedication, they finally turned the corner. It was a challenging start for these little lives, but these resilient babies grew stronger every single day. After all that, this entire litter remained lovable and friendly, though they can be a bit hesitant and cautious at first.
