Maggie Lou is a one-year-old, 20-pound, petite beagle with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Maggie is more than ready to begin her next chapter with a forever family who will show her just how wonderful life can be. This sweet girl is a bundle of joy - curious, affectionate, and always eager to explore the world around her. Like any true beagle, Maggie experiences life nose-first! She’s recently learned how to walk on a leash, and she absolutely loves it. Every walk is an exciting adventure filled with new scents and discoveries. Food is one of Maggie’s favorite things (as it is for most beagles!), and she’ll happily show off her adorable trick - standing on her hind legs while waiting for a treat. It’s as cute as it sounds! She also sits nicely when asked. When she’s not entertaining you, Maggie loves to snuggle up on the couch and soak in all the affection she can get. Maggie would be happiest in a home where she can spend plenty of time with her people, as she doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods. She would love a backyard where she can sniff and explore. She is crate trained and potty trained and Maggie Lou has not yet been tested with cats. Maggie is friendly with children who can understand and respect her gentle, loving nature. Maggie is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is also friendly with other dogs. Maggie was rescued alongside her sister, Penny Lou. These girls can be adopted together if you’re looking for a dynamic duo, or separately into loving homes.
