Iris is waiting for you at Anchorage Animal Care and Control in Anchorage, AK 99507. This sweet girl is Iris. She’s timid at first but when she warms up she leans in heavily to affection. Although she loves interacting with dogs, because of her shy nature, she does take a second to warm up to other pets. She is easy to walk on a leash and understands basic commands, while also taking treats in a polite manner. Once she feels comfortable, she does tiny jumps and then will play bow looking at you like “is this okay? Am I doing this right?” Definitely one of the top spots for goodest girl, she is a joy to have around, all she needs now is a home of her own and an open heart to show her love.
