I’m a senior husky, which means I’ve mastered the art of the slow stroll, the perfectly timed nap, and the soulful gaze that gets me just one more treat. Or two. I live for the quiet moments now. A warm spot by your side, a gentle hand scratching behind my ears, the sound of your voice telling me I’m a good boy (I am, by the way). Treats? Oh, I still get excited for those. My ears perk up, my tail gives a hopeful wag, and for a moment, I feel like that young pup again. But more than anything, I’m ready for a home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by kindness, patience, and love. I don’t need much... just a soft place to rest, a few tasty snacks, and someone who sees the beauty in a dog who’s lived a full life and still has so much heart left to share.
