Alana is waiting for you at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, TX 75212. Alana is a 2-year-old pup who can be a little timid at first but once she opens up her true personally shows. Her personality is one of a kind, she loves `booping` - that is pressing her nose to various items, or sometimes people. She does it out of habit and sometimes to communicate that she wants or needs something. Other things Alana loves includes: chasing things, watching large vehicles drive by, splashing in puddles, going on walks, carrying small toys in her mouth, and breakfast / dinner.She also seems to enjoy scratching the floor beneath her both in the yard and inside the house, though it appears that with adequate mental stimulation she is less inclined to. She currently has a rug that we point her to get that scratching energy on. Alana is potty trained, she waits to go outside to relieve herself. While she tolerates crates if she spends some significant time in one, she may start vocalizing to let her our. Most of the time she is not in a crate, during which time she naps or plays with the toys in her space. Alana doesn't seem to know many tricks / commands in either English or Spanish, but she seems very intelligent and intuits the space and people around her. Alana is good on leash, she has her on style of walking on a leash which includes walking in circles around you, waiting for you and then break dancing some paces around you, or calmly walking next to you. During a walk you may get all 3 styles, though she hardly pulls. She is very curious of the world around her during her walks and often stops to observe people, things, and often likes to pick up items on her trips. Alana is a very sweet pup, her fur is so fluffy and soft. She does shed. She seems to be an independent dog who doesn't need to cuddle but wants to follow and be around you, and wants to check in with her humans.
