She absolutely loves being close to her people, whether that’s snuggling on the couch, leaning in for hugs, or simply hanging out by your side. Those classic hound eyes will melt you instantly.She’s somewhat active and enjoys play, especially interactive toys and puzzle games, she loves putting her nose to work and will happily entertain herself. Maybell is very friendly and welcoming, getting excited to greet passersby, both people and other pets.She’s generally a quiet dog, using her hound voice sparingly. Loud noises like ambulances and fire trucks earned her curious looks rather than fear.In the car, she did well overall, getting in and out was a little intimidating at first, but once settled, she seemed to enjoy the ride. She’s still working on basic cues like sit and stay, but she’s eager and sweet throughout.Overall, Maybell is happiest when she’s with her humans, out exploring or relaxing at home.
