About Novak’s Breed: Our best guess is that Novak is a Husky/Shepherd mixed breed A Husky–Shepherd mix (a blend of the Siberian Husky and the German Shepherd) is typically an intelligent, loyal, and energetic companion. These dogs often combine the Husky’s playful spirit and endurance with the German Shepherd’s trainability and devotion to their people. They tend to be active, alert, and happiest when they have both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Their ideal home is with an experienced, confident owner who can provide consistent structure, positive reinforcement training, and plenty of daily activity. What to Love about Novak: Rescued as a stray in heartbreaking condition, he was severely underweight and suffering from significant hair loss.
