Giselle is waiting for you at Oakland Animal Services in United States. Giselle is a stunning 2-year-old, 73-pound German shepherd mix with a bright, sensitive spirit and lots of potential. She’s an alert, observant girl who is still building confidence in the world, but she already shows a sweet, affectionate side once she feels safe and connected to her person. She enjoys gentle affection and reassurance, and was a super good girl for grooming, calmly allowing a bath and nail trim. On a recent field trip, Giselle hopped into the car easily and enjoyed being out and about. On leash, she was attentive and responsive, though she occasionally had strong (and loud!) feelings about other dogs and small animals. She was comfortable around most people, even with unexpected distractions like bikes passing nearby, and showed nice ability to settle and refocus with guidance. Giselle will do best in a home without young kids, and as the only dog, with someone who can offer calm structure, consistency, and continued training. With the right support, she has wonderful potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
