Meet Norman — a loyal sweetheart ready for his second chance Norman is a familiar and much-loved face here at Ohio Fuzzy Pawz. He was adopted several years ago and recently returned to our care due to circumstances completely outside of his control, when his adopter fell on hard times and could no longer afford to care for him. We were honored to welcome Norman back with open arms and ensure he continues to receive the love and stability he deserves. Norman originally came into rescue when his elderly owner could no longer care for him, and over time he has made wonderful progress. He’s a devoted little guy who forms strong bonds with his people and truly enjoys being part of a routine. He loves attention, companionship, and being included in daily life. Norman is currently thriving in his foster home with other dogs and does very well in group settings. He excels at doggy daycare, participates nicely in group play, and has shown that he enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes. He’s also living with cats and doesn’t seem particularly interested in them. Norman does well with his potty routine when kept on a consistent schedule, with the understanding that there may always be a transition period as he adjusts to a new home. He has been on a weight-loss journey and has made great progress, and with the addition of joint supplements to help manage some arthritis in his back, he’s feeling so good that his foster mom says he’s like a brand-new pup. Regular walks are something he truly enjoys and help keep him feeling his best. Norman is looking for a stable, loving home that will cherish him as the affectionate, adaptable companion he is. Whether as a solo pup or with other friendly dogs, Norman has shown he can thrive when given structure, consistency, and love.
