She can be shy at first due to her rough start in life, but with patience and time, she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion who enjoys being close to her people. She’s nearly 2 years old, fully housebroken with regular yard access, and loves relaxing on the patio watching the world go by. Hershey may have a little beagle in her and can be vocal, but she’s doing great with a “no bark” command. She is good with other dogs but cats are probably a no go for her as she likes to chase out of curiosity. Hershey may need a little extra support at first—including managing some allergies (estimated around $30/month)—but what she gives in return is something really special. With a patient, understanding home, this little girl is going to shine.
