Annie is waiting for you at Fort Bend County Animal Services in Rosenberg, TX 77471. Annie came to us as a stray alongside her friend Fran (A050817) on 9/2/25, and she’s been quietly winning hearts ever since. This sweet girl has a gentle, easygoing nature with a fun, playful streak that shines when the moment is right. She’s also done well meeting other dogs in shelter playgroups. Annie is both independent and entertaining. She’s friendly, but she doesn’t need you to keep her amused 24/7. She’s happiest when she has a toy to keep her busy, though she doesn’t play with them like your typical dog! She’s invented her own sport called “ball boxing.” Instead of mouthing on a toy, Annie uses both of her front paws to box it and roll it around. It’s adorable to watch, and she’ll keep herself entertained this way for quite a while! Annie has a lower energy level when she’s not “ball boxing.” She enjoys affection and will come over for pets, though she tends to keep it brief before moving on to her next activity.
