She is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with a beautiful sable coat with big brown eyes. She is well behaved and not destructive—she doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t and is very easy to live with. She is very sweet and loves to kiss you to show her love. That includes resting on your bare feet. She is gentle and loving and loves to cuddle with you. Her favorite thing to do is to nap alongside you. She does pull strongly on the leash, especially for a senior like me without a lot of strength. Loud outside noises (including cars zooming by) scare her, and she will suddenly pull away and can easily pull you off your feet. She’s a smart girl who already knows several commands and is eager to please. When it’s time to relax, Liora is more than happy to curl up beside you for a nap. She is not comfortable around unfamiliar, unleashed dogs. She can pull and bark at other dogs and her that bark can turn into a growl, so we are careful not to allow her near other dogs she doesn’t know. I would recommend her as the only dog or with a calm, submissive canine. A fenced backyard to keep her safely within her boundaries would be ideal as she is startled by new sounds and people.
