If you've ever wanted a dog who is deeply, enthusiastically devoted to you, look no further.The good stuff: Mikey is potty trained, crate trained and knows his sit and down commands. He walks reasonably well on a leash and loves other confident, large dogs. He's a total sweetheart who just wants to be near his people — and by near, we mean on you.The real talk: Mikey is a giant puppy with giant puppy energy, and he needs a home that's ready for that. He jumps, he's mouthy, he's exactly the height of the kitchen counter and the concept of personal space is completely lost on him. He sheds, he drools, and he will lean into you with his full body weight because he loves you very, very much. He will need continued obedience training — he's got the foundation; he just needs someone to build on it.He has a couple of food sensitivities, but his diet is very manageable with off-the-shelf foods (without chicken or peanut butter). Your socks should also probably be kept out of reach — ask us about the baby sock incident. It involves Mikey's enormous mouth and a very fast rescue operation.Mikey is best suited for a home without small dogs, cats, or young children.
