Zoey is waiting for you at Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue in United States. We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to [Coordonnées masquées] Hi… I’m Zoey I’m approx 4 year old, spayed Giant Schnauzer (around 40 lbs) with a gentle heart and a story that’s made me a little shy at first. I spent a few months out on my own before I was rescued, and I’ve worked really hard since then including going through heartworm treatment so I can be healthy and ready for my forever home. Because of my past, I can be a little nervous when I first meet new people or find myself in new places. If I feel unsure, I might quietly retreat until I know I’m safe. But once I trust you… oh, I really love you. I’m calm, affectionate, and happiest just being near my people. I don’t have a mean bone in my body and I do great with kids. I truly just want to feel safe and loved. When I first settled into a home, I had a little bit of anxiety and tried to cope by chewing or digging, but once I realized I was safe and cared for, that all faded away. I just need a little patience and reassurance in the beginning and I promise I’m so worth it. One thing about me? I LOVE being part of a pack. Having other dogs around helps me feel confident and happy, and I’ve really thrived in that kind of environment. I also love to stretch my legs and run, so a fenced yard would be a dream for me.
