I might look a little shy at first, but once I know you’re a safe person, my whole heart opens up. I’m the kind of girl who wants to love deeply and do everything I can to make my people happy. I just need a gentle introduction and a little patience while I get to know you. New people can make me nervous, so I like to take things slow. If you give me a moment, maybe offer a treat or two, I’ll start to relax and show you my soft, silly side. Once I trust you, I’m affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. I’m proud to say I’ve got great manners. I’m house trained, crate trained, and I walk very nicely on a leash. I love being outside—sniffing the breeze, exploring the yard, or chasing after a ball. Chewing on a good bone is one of my favorite ways to unwind. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having canine friends to play with. They help me feel more confident, too. What I’m really hoping for is a forever family who understands that I’m a sensitive soul. Someone who will let me warm up at my own pace and celebrate all the love I have to give.
