Sage is waiting for you at Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa in WDM, IA 50265. SAGE IS SCHEDULED FOR HER SPAY ON JUNE 24, 2026, WHEN SHE IS 16 WEEKS OLD. SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES DUE TO HER VETTING NEEDS. Sage is a mixed breed puppy who was born February 27, 2026, after her momma was rescued from a homeless camp in Oklahoma. She is one of a litter of 8. Sage weighs about 10 lbs. and is 9 weeks old She is expected to be a medium sized dog when full grown. Her momma, Marty, weighs 35 lbs. but we don't know who Daddy is. Sage is a sweet, adventurous girl that loves exploring her surroundings. She walks well on a leash and does well in a kennel. Sage continues to work on potty training but overall is doing great. She loves to play fetch! Sage is being fostered with other dogs and has been introduced to cats and did very well with the meet and greet.
