Sydney is waiting for you at Florida Poodle Rescue in Saint Petersburg, FL 33734. ​ Sydney might best be called Cinderella. She came to us as a 9 year old, sweet, 60-pound female suffering terribly with a matted coat and painful ear and eye issues. We whisked her to the vet for spaying, eye surgery and ear treatment, and to the groomer to get her coat healthy and silky again. Now, after three months in loving foster care, the real Sydney is here. She’s a bundle of love with an unparalleled ability to bond with her humans and express her gratitude for being rescued. Wherever you are is where you’ll find her! Sydney sleeps through the night, does car rides like a pro, and has a wonderful way of balancing the joy of puppy-like play with a love of “out-like-a-light” naps. She’s potty trained, gentle on the leash and accepts medical handling with ease. Sydney’s a bit of a diva—prefers gentle male canine companionship to competition with other female divas. Crating doesn’t work for her, and she’ll need a bit of time to settle in, like most rescues.
