I come from a big family — my mom, my dad, my three siblings, and me — and we all ended up together at a California shelter when our world suddenly shifted. We’d spent our whole lives side by side, and then everything changed overnight. Even with all that uncertainty, I’ve held onto my quiet optimism. I’m naturally curious, hopeful, and ready for a new beginning. Right now, I’m staying at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, where the volunteers have been incredibly kind. They say I’m one of the “light-colored girls” in the group, and people often stop to admire my soft markings and sweet expression. I don’t think much about how I look, but I do know I love gentle hands, calm voices, and people who move slowly enough for me to understand what’s happening. I’m friendly and social, just like the rest of my family, but I’m still learning what it means to live in a human world. Before arriving here, I don’t think I ever lived inside a home.
