Maggie May is waiting for you at Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. in Imlay City, MI 48444. Maggie is a sweet girl who was rescued after being dumped in South Florida. Shes estimated to be around 5-7 years old and is such a happy go lucky girl! During her initial evaluation we learned she understands German so there's definitely some type of training in her background.Maggie May is extremely toy driven and will play fetch with you all day long. She also LOVES swimming, it's her favorite way to cool off in this Florida heat. Once she warms up to you she will want to play tug all day long. What more could you want from a girl? Due to her background she does need slow introductions to new people but warms up very quickly! She can be too much for some dogs and wants to be in charge, so she'll need to be with a submissive dog or an only dog.Some Maggie May highlights: Great office co-worker Good with kids Started working on basic obedience & walking on a leash with a trainer Ultra velcro Mal. Loves car rides High toy drive (minimal food drive, in her past we're guessing she was taught to never take food, she will only eat from her bowl once it's placed down) Loves swimming (would thrive at dock diving) UTD on Vaccines Spayed Not likely good with cats or chickens, she wants to chase. Needs slow intros to people and better socialization with the world Major velcro and wants to be with her person all the time.
