I am here because I was given up by my owner on 05/01/2026 due to the fact I was not a good fit with the children in the home. My owner said I played too rough with them, and would sometimes get carried away and bite/scratch too hard. This can sometimes happen if a kitten does not have a feline playmate, or if children play too rough with a kitten. The child in the home was about 5 years old. My family originally adopted me from the shelter when I was a small kitten. I lived with them for over a year before they had to return me.I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and older children. I can be good with other cats, but I do not like living with dogs.My owner described my personality as very loving, active, and playful.
