Horace is waiting for you at Animal Rescue of the Rockies in Aurora, CO 80012. Horace is a very vocal kitty who was a little shy when we first took him in, but he really started to warm up after a couple weeks of foster care. He loves being rubbed and loved on. Horace is FIV+, so he may need extra medical care as he gets older, but cats can live long healthy lives with the disease and he currently doesn’t show any signs of anything slowing him down from his condition. Horace just received a dental so his teeth are nice and clean. He will do best in a quiet home without a lot of people. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
