Sisters Hoopla and Ruckus were rescued in November 2025 as 6 week old kittens from a busy street in Fort Greene. As the runt of the litter, Hoopla frequently hid behind her more confident sibling for the first few months, hissy and terrified of humans. After several weeks of hiding under the bed, she became curious and adventurous - she is now the ultimate explorer, always wanting to see what is underneath, behind, and above everything! Her sweet and spunky personality has finally shown itself. Be prepared to hear bird-like coos around your home as she explores - she has a lot to say! Ruckus, ironically the more mellow of the two, can usually be found curled up on the bed or couch for a long snooze. Her fur pattern is the most beautiful you’ll ever see! She loves playing and wrestling with her sister. They both prefer to be approached slowly and with patience, but enticing them with Temptations treats (their kryptonite) cracks them every time, and they’ll lean into pets/snuggles. They especially love to sleep in bed with you. If you’re looking for a couple of easy going, sweet kittens, these girls are for you!
