Cyrus is waiting for you at Brooklyn Animal Action in Brooklyn, NY 11229. Meet sweet Cyrus. He was rescued from a colony as an older kitten where the man was feeding multiple cats but refused to get help spaying and neutering them. We were happy to get him indoors while he was young enough to be socialized! Cyrus understandably came in scared but never showed any signs of aggression. Given he has positive interactions with humans, he instantly allowed pets. Fast forward a few weeks in our care, he is slowly progressing into the sweetest boy. He absolutely adores being pet. He will start to purr up a storm and literally start to melt as you pet him. He is also fine with being handled and held in short sessions. We are continuing to go at his pace! We know with a patient adopter, Cyrus will turn into the biggest love bug and will be on your chest purring up a storm in no time! Because of his age, he should go to a home with another young friendly cat at home who can continue to help him blossom and come out of his shell! Cyrus is about 5 months old and healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
