Truffle is waiting for you at Carroll County Animal Shelter in Carrollton, GA 30117. Bonjour! My name is Truffle, and I am a small gray, fluffy girl kitty who is just a year old! Despite my youth, I have had a litter of kittens, and was such a good mama that I also mothered 3 orphaned kittens. My babies are all getting ready to find their furever homes, and now it's my turn! I stayed in a foster home with my kittens, and my foster mom says that I am one of the sweetest, cutest mamas she's ever fostered. I have a grey mouse toy that I LOVE that I hope is coming with me, but I like lots of different toys, and I am very playful. I love to be pet, and I have a deep purr even though I'm a little cat. My eyes are golden but look orange in the right light, and I love to sit next to my people. You can pick me up for snuggles, but I really prefer to just be right next to you, either by your lap or by your feet. I get along well with other kitties as long as they're not trying to mess with my babies, so that shouldn't be a problem in my new home, whoever it is with. I am friendly, and I like to give love bites sometimes, but I never hurt anyone. It's just a nibble! Oh, and I have a very sweet meow that I will use to get your attention! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
