About Willa Feral (Domestic Short Hair) in Claremore, OK 74018

Willa Feral is waiting for you at Okie Pet Rescue in Claremore, OK 74018. Bob & Willa: An Unexpected Friendship Some stories don't begin with happy endings. They begin with survival.Last winter, during one of the harshest freezes Oklahoma had seen in years, three tiny kittens struggled to survive on the streets of Bartlesville. One by one they were rescued... except for Bob.For three long weeks, Bob survived completely alone through freezing temperatures, snowstorms, and ice. Every day we worried we had lost him, but somehow this resilient little orange kitten kept going until he was finally trapped and brought to safety.Today, Bob is about 9 months old.His body is safe, but his heart is still learning that people can be trusted. Bob is still considered feral, though every day he takes another tiny step forward. He's perfectly content spending his days lounging in the cat tree in his foster family's bathroom, watching the world go by from a safe place. Progress with cats like Bob isn't measured in miles—it's measured in inches. Then along came another little orange kitten. She was originally named Will Feral because everyone assumed she was a little boy... and definitely feral. As it turns out, "Will" became Willa, and she wasn't nearly as wild as she first wanted everyone to believe! At just 4 months old, Willa started out as a spicy little kitten who had to be trapped and made it very clear she was not impressed with humans. When Bob's siblings were adopted, his foster family decided to introduce Willa to him, hoping they might enjoy having another feline companion. What happened next exceeded everyone's expectations. The two orange tabbies became inseparable. They wrestle, chase each other through the room, curl up together for naps, and spend hours cuddling. Willa, who looks like Bob's tiny twin, has earned the nickname "Little Bob" from her foster dad.More importantly, Willa has given Bob something he desperately needed—confidence.Watching fearless little Willa inte
