About Miles (Domestic short hair) in Columbia

Miles is waiting for you at Rescue Well Incorporated in United States. Miles is 4 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, is microchipped and is FeLV/FIV negative, as veterinary records will substantiate. Miles does not like to be picked up or held and he's senstive to loud noises. He meows when in his carrier while in a vehicle transporting him to the vet. "[Miles] is in a large 2-room space with windows. We keep him separated from our other cats. In the evenings, we usually close our cats in a separate room and let Miiles roam the house with us. He loves to play, and will even snort and huff when he's really into it. He also likes human company and affection - he lays around and purrs whenever I'm with him - but he is not a 'lap cat'." Scratch incident: Some time in October 2022, Miles scratched one of his guardians in the home; the skin was not broken and animal control was not involved. Guardian further explains: " No medical attention was required. Miles does not like to be picked up or held, but my husband tried to pick him up to carry him upstairs. He meowed and tried to get down, and then scratched when my husband did not put him down." Miles's guardian states the reason she has made the decision to rehome him: " We adopted MIles after the most senior of our three cats died last spring. We thought our other young male cat, who loves to play and pester our middle-aged female cat, would benefit from having another young male cat playmate. Unfortunately our middle-aged female is not on board with this arrangement. She and Miles cannot tolerate each other, despite all our efforts at a slow and careful introduction, and unfortunately, we have to keep Miles in his own “suite” in our house now." Brief medical history: " Miles is in good health and is up to date on all of his vaccinations. When he arrived at BARCS, he had crystals in his urine. He was put on prednisone and a prescription diet, and he has not had
