She may hang back at first, but give her patience and a gentle approach, and you’ll watch her slowly bloom into the sweetest companion. Wisp would do best in a quiet home where things move at her pace. Another friendly cat would be a big plus to help her feel more comfortable and build confidence. Dogs and young kiddos are a little too busy for her tender heart. Her favorite pastimes? Soaking up gentle pets, taking cozy naps, and tucking herself into her beloved hidey hut for a little beauty rest. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application.
