Xander is waiting for you at Dallas Pets Alive in Dallas, TX 75252. Hi, I’m Xander. I came to the shelter after being left behind in a home with 12 other cats when our owner was evicted. I was very scared at the shelter and ended up being the last of the 13 still waiting. A kind foster mom brought me home and has given me the time, space, and patience I need to feel safe again. I’m still a little nervous, but I’m learning that good things happen — especially feather toys, spring toys, and treats (Churu, Purr Pops… honestly, I love all treats!). 😻 I’ve met the resident kitties here and I love them! I enjoy cuddling and playing with my kitty friends, and having them around really helps me feel more confident. I’m still adjusting to people, but I’m making progress every day. I’m looking for a calm, loving home — ideally with another kitty (or two!) — who will give me the time and patience I need to fully come out of my shell and feel safe, loved, and secure. 🧡 All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise.
