This handsome 3 year old boy is a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment, so you’ll often find him tucked away in a cozy hiding spot. But don’t let that fool you, Charlie is incredibly kind and affectionate once he feels safe. When you approach him softly, he leans right into pets and clearly enjoys the comfort of a gentle touch. Charlie has a soft spot for his special treats, and if you happen to have some on hand, you’ll quickly become his favorite person. It’s a wonderful way to build trust with him and watch his personality start to shine. He also enjoys playtime, especially batting around pom pom toys or indulging in the occasional catnip treat. Because he is a shy boy, Charlie would do best in a calm, patient home that will give him the time and space he needs to adjust at his own pace. Once he settles in, he has all the potential to become a devoted and loving companion. Charlie has done well with adults, children 7 and over, and other cats. He has not yet been around dogs.
