About Miss Little Love (Domestic short hair) in Franklin

Miss Little Love is waiting for you at Critter Cavalry Rescue in Franklin, TN 37069. Meet Miss Little Love. Just look at those exotic green eyes and that jet black silky fur. Born in mid-August 2024, this black beauty came to me with her littermates in October after hurricane Helene, and she was the tiniest of tiny kitten! It took her until January 2025 to grow large enough to get spayed, but the minute she was posted, she was adopted by a family with three young boys who had never had a kitten. As you can imagine, that was a very active household! Unfortunately, that level of energy was not right for this gentle little kitten, and this darling girl was returned after only a couple months. Since coming back in March of 2025, Little Love has mingled in a room with other kittens, as well as a room of adult cats, generally getting along with them all. But this foster mom feels that Love would thrive if she is the only cat in the home, receiving all of the love and attention she deserves. And perhaps it is best that her forever home is a little subdued; ideally a retired couple or individual that works from home. Little Love has always had an “old soul”, even as a young kitten. She does not demand constant attention, but she absolutely treasures companionship. She enjoys her cat naps; sometimes solo, sometimes on your lap. Definitely a lap lover, that seeks out head scratches. She enjoys her dry kibble and a dab of wet food or purée on top, but not a big eater. She is an easy-going kitty; she loves to sit and watch pet videos, and simply cuddle on or next to a warm body. She is happiest when she is with her humans! And her motor is on high it seems, running at all times. She is called Little Love, because that is exactly what she is! In June 2025, she suddenly developed labored breathing, which was quite frightening. The vet diagnosed her with asthma, something I didn’t even realize cats could have. Perhaps you have asthma and can relate? This bl
