Madame Jeanette's story began under a woodpile, where she and her litter were born and raised with little to no human interaction before they came to the shelter. Frightened and a little spicy at first, the kittens were fittingly named after peppers! Despite her timid beginnings, Madame Jeanette was one of the first of her siblings to discover that people aren't so scary after all. This sweet girl, with her soft velvet coat, happily leans into gentle pets and has even been known to climb right into a welcoming lap for a cozy snuggle. When she's not cuddling, Madame Jeanette loves to play with her siblings and chase after just about any toy. Her soulful gaze and beautiful eyes have a way of melting hearts, and her quiet, gentle nature makes her especially endearing. Madame Jeanette can still be a little shy in new situations, so she'll thrive with a patient family willing to give her the time and encouragement she needs to build confidence.
