Loki is waiting for you at Loving Care Cat Rescue in Lemoyne, PA 17043. Darla was adopted out with her twin kitten sister in February 2026. Both she and her sister were shy when they first went to their new home, which was active with little kids. Somewhere along the way, Darla ended up with an injury to her eye, and her new owners returned her to the rescue for treatment in April 2026. Darla understandably was sad and quite disoriented that she lost her sister and her new home AND her vision in one eye all within the span of a day. But LCCR is determined to get every kitty the home they deserve, so Darla came back to us for some rest and rehab. She is under medical treatment with drops to try to save her eye, and a determination as to whether it may have to be removed will occur in May 2026. She definitely enjoys a quiet setting as surely things are feeling a little weird to her right now. Her eye doesn't stop her from playing gently with toys, accepting pets, and watching what is going on in her new foster home. One thing Darla really enjoys is the presence of other cats, in an obvious attempt to replace the sister who was always at her side. She tried to cozy up to one foster cat who wanted nothing to do with other cats, and she was very sad. She would spend her days cuddled solo on a cat bed. That is, until Loki entered her life... ...Loki came to LCCR in March 2026 after his owner surrendered him. Loki was only two years old, but he was hurting for sure! He was nearly bald from being plagued by a flea allergy in his house. Luckily, LCCR was able to help him with that, and he is quite happy to be on the road to recovery. His black fur is thin and is growing back, and from a distance he looks like a tortie! While his skin allergy was a mess at his previous house, he certainly had no problem making up for it with his social behavior! Loki loves to be around people--approaching them at break neck speed and insisting on pets. He is a super quick
