Born about January of 2023, Roscoe is a charming young man with an unforgettable “grumpy old man” face and a big personality to match. He is a longy, but his tail isn’t quite normal length. Though he may be slow to trust, beneath that skeptical stare is a cat full of quiet affection, curious habits, and the potential for a deep bond. Roscoe is a fiend for treats, a fan of sunbeams , and a lover of tunnels and quiet spots where he can nap in peace. He thrives in calm environments and would enjoy the company of respectful dog and kitty companions. Older children who understand boundaries and a peaceful pace are a must. Roscoe is looking for a patient, understanding family that will give him the time and space he needs to settle in and feel safe. After fending for himself in the outdoors and nearly dying from a terrible respiratory infection and anemia, he is still adapting to the safety and comforts of indoor life.
