Because she was so shy at first, Emmy stayed in the rescue president’s home where she slowly blossomed into the loving, attention-seeking queen she is today. While her original name was Mustache Momma, “Emmy” ended up fitting her sweet and sophisticated personality perfectly.Once Emmy comes out of her shell, she becomes the center of attention — literally. If someone else is getting petted nearby, Emmy fully believes that affection should belong to her instead. She absolutely adores being loved on and will happily insert herself into every cuddle session. She’s also very food motivated, which may explain her adorable extra few pounds.Emmy has experience living with both dogs and cats. She does well with smaller dogs and could adjust to larger dogs with a proper introduction period. She’s also great with older children who understand how to respect a cat’s space.One of Emmy’s biggest comforts is companionship. She has lived in a home with 12 other cats and truly thrives in a multi-cat household where she always has company nearby.
