After 10 years in a loving home, sweet Darla found herself back in our care when her beloved person could no longer care for her due to dementia. It’s a heartbreaking twist for a cat who’s known nothing but love her whole life — and through it all, Darla has remained gentle, kind, and full of quiet grace. We’re still getting to know her as she adjusts to this big change, but so far, she’s shown us what a tender soul she is. Darla loves calm voices, soft pets, and cozy spots to curl up in.
