A former supermom, Tawny lovingly raised her seven kittens after they were rescued at just one day old. Now that ALL of her babies have found homes, it’s finally Tawny’s turn to be the one getting all the love.Tawny is the kind of cat who’s confident doing her own thing. During the day, she enjoys sunbathing, relaxing on her favorite cat tree, or observing the household from a comfy spot just off to the side of the action. While she may not be an “in-your-face” social butterfly, Tawny has formed a special bond with her foster mom and shows her affectionate side in meaningful ways — especially at night, when she happily curls up in bed for snuggles. She loves to lay directly on your chest and give your arm (and some times the space near your armpit ) a little nibble. It's her love language. In the right environment, we believe Tawny has the potential to be even more affectionate and engaged with her forever family. She’s currently living in a home with several other cats, which doesn’t allow her personality to fully shine. Tawny does best when she’s given space to settle in at her own pace and be the center of attention.Tawny communicates clearly and respectfully — she’ll let you know when she’s in the mood for attention and when she’d prefer some alone time.
