Clyde is waiting for you at Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc. in United States. Clyde is a playful and curious 2 year old boy that is looking for his forever home. Rescued in Sunset Park, Brooklyn – he was found roaming different backyards in search of shelter during the coldest days last winter. At a healthy 13 lbs., Clyde is a strong, but gentle cat. Due to unknown circumstances, his first home gave him away to a local business that neglected to provide him medical care or keep him safely indoors. Clyde is very trusting and loves the comfort of knowing his human(s) are nearby. He enjoys lounging in sunny spots, window watching, chin scratches, comfy beds, and cardboard scratchers. This energetic boy is also an expert communicator, who will let you know when it’s time to play! Wand toys with feather attachments are his favorite – Clyde is always up for an adventure and loves to play chase/hunt games with his toys. He also enjoys seeking vertical spaces to climb – a cat tree or shelves would be great additions to his space in order to enrich his environment. Clyde is the perfect gentleman, always patient for his food, impeccable litterbox etiquette, and will make plenty of biscuits to share with his whole family. He is a big fan of wet canned food and absolutely loves the paté texture. Clyde would make the perfect companion for humans with hybrid or WFH work schedules and he may do well with other cats (he lived in foster with other cats and did well). Veterinary wellness exams show he is in great shape and he is up to date on all of his vaccines. He recently had a cardiologist check out a suspected heart murmur, and the report came back negative for any heart disease and concluded that he is very healthy!
