Fig & Newton is waiting for you at Give Me Shelter Project in United States. BONDED Female & Male/DOB: 12/31/25 We are a s weet-as-sugar pair of orphans who do everything TOGETHER! Little Fig is the brave explorer. She is adventurous, curious, and always ready to lead the way into a new game. She is very protective of her brother, Newton! Newton is the “Happy Wobbler”! He is a little more cautious but just as playful as his sister. He was born with a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which is known as “Wobbly Cat Syndrome”. He has a very mild case; it is a non-progressive neurological condition that affects his balance. It isn’t an illness, does not cause Newton pain, and is not contagious. He is just a little off-balance sometimes! Because of his CH, certain concessions need to be made in the home - no stairs , sharp edges, leaving Newton on a bed which he may jump off and get hurt. His foster mom will be able to tell you more and answer any questions! Fig & Newton would love a home with lots of rugs/carpets to help Newton keep his grip. We hope to find a family who sees that being “wobbly” just means having a little extra character! An ideal family for Fig and Newton would have experience with special needs cats and perhaps have a playful, young cat already in the home.
