Igor is waiting for you at Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc. in United States. Igor is a handsome young cat who was rescued from a cat colony in Coney Island. He was immediately happy and comfortable in his foster home, settling in for pets, snacks and cuddles from the moment he arrived. Igor loves a day filled with naps and play. For naps, he loves laying in a cat condo next to me while I work or finding a spot on top of a plush blanket. He’s independent but also enjoys being in the same room as you, and he’ll jump into your hand for pets when you walk into a room. For play, he hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like! Some of his favorites are a catnip filled kicker, the cat dancer wire toy, and a wand with a ribbon attached to it. He also really enjoys watching birds outside the window or on videos on YouTube. His absolute favorite is a motorized, independent-play toy that he can’t get enough of. When it comes to food, Igor eats well and enjoys Friskies wet food and dry food throughout the day, and he loves Churus as a treat. Lastly, Igor is comfortable around our 65-pound dog. From the moment they were introduced he was open to being nearby and even letting the dog smell him. Igor doesn’t appear to be intimidated by our dog, and instead seems intrigued by him! Igor would do well in a home where he can play and get affection. Igor was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
