She is still cautious with people and not yet comfortable with handling, so her future family must be committed to continuing her socialization at her pace. She would do well with older, calm children (12+) or adults who are willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust. Most importantly, Adalyn needs a confident, friendly cat companion in her forever home to help guide her and build her confidence.Playtime is the key to Addie’s heart. She absolutely loves feather wand toys, sparkly balls, and little stuffed mice, and she can more than hold her own in a wrestling match with her bigger brothers! Her playful side is where her personality shines—she’s quick, clever, and full of energy when she’s feeling safe.And speaking of skills… Adalyn is a world-class escape artist. Her foster mom once set up a four-foot “kitten-proof” gate—only to later spot a tiny tail under the couch. Within days, Addie had already figured out how to get past it! If there’s a way over, under, or around something, this brilliant little girl will find it. Her intelligence, determination, and “girl power” spirit are truly something special. She also has a gentle, growing connection with her foster mom—Addie now allows pets while enjoying her favorite Churu treats, which is a big step forward in her journey to trust.
