She has done well with all the people (including older, respectful children) she has met. She has also loved every animal friend she's met, including two gentle dogs in her foster home. She is certified dog friendly! She can be startled by loud noises, though she settles quickly, so a quieter home may be preferred — but overall she is quite adaptable. While she is independent enough to be okay on her own for periods while her humans are at work or out socializing, she is truly a lover at heart and would be happiest in a home where people are around often to shower her with attention.Playtime is Canary’s absolute favorite thing in the world. She can play all day long without missing a beat! Toy mice? Yes, please. Little balls with strings? She’ll proudly carry them around in her mouth like prized trophies.
