He seeks out affection, leans into pets, and shows again and again that his heart is as big as his fighting spirit.Truth would do best in a home with adults only or possibly with older kids/teens who can understand and respect his boundaries, especially as he continues adjusting to indoor life. He does not like to be confined and may become stressed if restricted to a small space, so a home that allows him freedom to settle in at his own pace will be key. He absolutely loves other cats and would thrive with a feline companion—he’s been especially wonderful with his foster friend Shadow and would love to be adopted with her. While he can relax on his own and be independent, he clearly craves connection and will seek out his humans for love and reassurance. He was found on the streets with severe injuries to his head and face, likely from an animal bite, and has spent months healing and being lovingly nursed back to health by his dedicated foster mom. Because of his injuries he hasn’t had much opportunity to explore playtime yet—his focus has been on rest and recovery. But even while sore and uncomfortable, he remained kind, affectionate, and deeply connected to the people caring for him.
