Falkor is a large, medium-haired white cat with vivid yellow eyes, and if you’ve ever seen The NeverEnding Story, the name will make immediate sense.He was found in our parking lot, apparently on his own and trying to get by. We believe he was dumped. He wasn’t going to come to us on his own terms, so we live-trapped him – and within a day or two of coming in, he was talking to us and accepting pets. That’s a pretty fast turnaround for a cat who had every reason not to trust people.We’re still getting to know him, but so far he’s showing up as a sweet, calm guy. He doesn’t seem bothered by other cats near his space. He has a lot of medium-length white fur that’s currently carrying some evidence of his time spent under cars and on the move – we’re leaving the bath for later, when he’s had more time to settle in and we haven’t given him any new reasons to reconsider his opinion of us.Falkor is still early in his time with us, but he has the makings of a confident, personable cat once he’s fully on solid ground. He will be neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption.
