Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. YAZHU and what we believe are his siblings were saved from a really rough neighborhood in LA County. This wonderful group that helps out people in that area do TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) saved them. So the adults were all TNRed and the kittens were sent to rescues. We took on YAZHU and his siblings (YING - YANG - YISRAEL - YAWEN). YAZHU has been ready for his FUREVER home for a long time. Meet YAZHU, Turkish Van whose striking black and white coat makes him look like a little work of art come to life. This young boy carries himself with a calm, easygoing presence, yet he has a playful spark that shines through when the mood strikes. One moment he is lounging like a tiny philosopher դիտing the world, and the next he is happily batting at a toy or trotting over for a tasty treat. YAZHU is wonderfully social with his feline friends and truly enjoys their company, often joining in gentle play sessions or simply relaxing nearby. He would be very compatible with a home that already has a friendly cat companion who can show him the ropes and share in his quiet adventures. Around people, he is sweet and curious, though he can be a bit shy at first. With a little patience and a caring environment, he begins to show his affectionate side
