Sahara - Female DOB 4/18/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Brown and White Tabby Sahara is a gorgeous long-haired brown and white tabby who will make it very clear, very quickly, that she is your girl — and she expects you to be her person right back. She is playful and loves a good wand toy session, but she is equally happy to switch gears and curl up with you for a cuddle. In her foster home, she had a habit of following her foster mom from room to room, just waiting for the moment she would bend down to give her some attention — and making absolutely sure she was always in the loop on whatever was happening. Once she has had time to settle in, she will find her way onto your bed, and at that point you may just have to accept that sleeping arrangements have officially changed. Sahara was in foster with another cat, but she wasn't fond of being around other cats. Currently at the rescue she has a tendency to hiss and cuff at other cats, so she would likely be happiest as your one and only kitty — as long as you are someone who is home more often than not and has plenty of attention to give. She has not been around dogs, so that would be an unknown worth approaching slowly. Older children who know how to respect a cat's space would be the right fit for her.
