Hi, I’m Clawed, a 17-year-old orange-and-white gentleman and proud snuggle connoisseur, looking for a forever home with a warm lap and someone who appreciates the finer things in life, like naps and more naps.I may be a senior, but I still have plenty of charm. My back legs are a bit wobbly these days due in part to spinal arthritis, which has made jumping more difficult for me. The good news is that I’ve started receiving monthly injections that have been helping with my pain and mobility, and I’m feeling more comfortable because of them. I don’t do much jumping anymore, but I’m very clever and determined. If you give me a small step stool or a little help, I can still make it to my favorite places like the couch or bed, which I consider my personal kingdoms.My ideal day is simple. I start with a long, peaceful nap right on your lap. Then I might get a little burst of energy for some ribbon play to keep things interesting. After that, I am ready for treats, which I always accept, and then it is straight back to lap time for more sleeping, purring, and chin scratches.I’m a low-energy guy who enjoys short moments of play, but I am mostly in full cuddle mode. I am currently living in a calm, quiet apartment with my foster parents who work from home part of the time, which suits me very well since I love steady companionship and cozy routines.I have not met other cats or dogs, and I am not a good fit for homes with children. I prefer a peaceful environment where things stay predictable and calm. I do have a bit of a sensitive litter box situation, so I need a human who is attentive about keeping things clean and comfortable for me.More than anything, I want a quiet home with soft places to rest, gentle voices, and someone who is around often enough to share daily cuddles with me.
