Zelda is a sweet, curious nine year-old kitty looking for her forever home!This pretty girl enjoys people-watching and will sit with you while you cook and clean. She prefers lounging on her heated blanket to playing, but she has a soft spot for catnip toys, especially at night. A discerning gourmet, she is a big fan of treats and will always come running at the sound of a crinkling bag. Zelda enjoys her personal space, but will often ask for pets by tapping you on the arm with her paw or by getting cozy on your lap. A gal who knows her boundaries, she will also let you know when she’s done receiving attention. She also loves curling up in the bottom of her cat tree or perching on the top platform to watch the world outside.Zelda is a chill, sleepy lady who enjoys lounging around most of the day. She will have short bursts of energy at night, but overall prefers solo play when that happens. She is currently living with four college-aged girls in an apartment, with no other pets.Zelda would thrive in a home where she can live a quiet life and receive the space and attention she needs. She would do best with adults or cat-savvy children who understand her need for pets on her terms, and who will respect her boundaries. This lovely lady would thrive in a home with lots of comfy spaces to lounge around, areas where she can look out the window, lots of treats, and someone to give her daily medication and pets. People who work from home or around a lot would be great for Zelda.Zelda was found as a terrified stray and has come such a long way. She has most likely encountered other cats, but not while in our care. She has shown interest in a kitten we had temporarily, but they did not meet face-to-face.
