Croissant is waiting for you at Animal Rescuers Without Borders in San Diego, CA 92111. Meet Croissant! We accepted this cutie in early June 2026 after she was rejected by the local San Diego shelter for being too “wild and rough.” We were contacted by her rescuer for assistance and we took her in. This beauty has the typical personality of a kitten full of shenanigans. Its a little soon to determine if she is long or medium coat, we can say she is a PURRFECT Halloween kitty because she poofs up just like one! It's hillarious to see her fluff up which she does frequently when something scares her like a dog coming her way or another kitty turning the corner in the room. She is pretty funny, fun and has an interesting personality. She does not run from you when approached, she enjoys being talked to and touched which she immediately starts the little motor of hers BUT she only enjoys (allows) to hold her in your arms belly down or up if she is in a very lovey dovey mood. She has no problem being picked up BUT held on your arms not so much. You will have better success petting and loving on her when she is at the computer table, couch or bed. She adores cats. Being at casa de arwob she was very easy to incorporate with the other kitties and all seem to have taken to her. She is not afraid of dogs as she approaches the baby gates often to see them but she will fluff up or hiss if she feels threatened. A cat friendly easy going/gentle dog should have no problem. She has shown great litter box habits so far. Like all kittens loves to play and nap particularly by a window with fresh air. This healthy girl is fully vaccinated, felv/fiv negative, chipped and will be spayed end of July. For this reason we are seeking an adopter or foster who is local to san diego to be able to drop off/pick up the day of her surgery (adoption fee covers the spay of course and we are happy to help with transport on surgery day - ready for adoption now as long as adopter understand this sur
