Butters is waiting for you at 13thstcats.org in San Jose, CA 95155. Butters was adopted as a kitten but came back to our rescue when his family needed to move and could not take him with them. Butters is a chill guy who is perfect for someone who does not want a clingy cat. He is happy to take care of himself so he makes a great companion for those who have to work long hours and don't want to worry about their feline friend being lonely. When you come home, he's happy to greet you with a few soft meows and after some quick petting, he is content to sit quietly while you do your own thing. Butters would be great in a quiet house. He enjoys finding a quiet place to sleep out of sight or even sleep near you while you work on the computer or watch tv. He is the ultimate low maintenance friend who provides quiet companionship and won't be jumping on you all the time. Butters has very soft fur and is very curious about the world around him. He is a very intelligent cat who even knows how to close doors on his own and likes to play (he'll nip at your hands lightly when you pet him). As with many very intelligent felines, he will be a bit shy in the beginning but after a week and a half in his new home will be reassured you're a great person and will interact with you as you go about your day/night. Butters is best in a home without children or other animals. He just wants a quiet place to call home and a human he can share it with.
